WELCOME to the Friends of the Brea Library Website!
The Friends of the Brea Library are a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Brea Library and its services, programs, and community outreach activities; all of which foster community empowerment through literacy.
Our Bookstore is located at 1 Civic Center Circle on the Plaza Level of the Brea Civic and Cultural Center in the main lobby outside the Brea Library. Parking for the Brea Civic and Cultural Center is off Birch Street in the parking structure. Take the elevator to the Plaza Level. Additional parking is available in the Embassy Suites parking structure and across the street at the Brea Marketplace.
How we help. Each year the Friends underwrite the many programs offered by the Brea Library including; “Donuts with Dad” and “Read to the Dogs”, book clubs, computer classes, homework help, writers group, family movies, holiday craft events, and several family evening events. The Friends also donate CD’s, DVD’s, books and replacement books to insure the library remains well stocked at all times. Please consider donating to help the Friends promote literacy in Brea!
